About the surgery

Kings Lane is a long-established primary care surgery, primarily covering Bebington residents with patients registered from the surrounding areas also.

Kings Lane is proud to be an accredited training surgery. As a training surgery, fully qualified doctors are attached to our surgery to get further training in becoming a general practitioner. These doctors, known as a registrars, are fully supervised at all times and are encouraged to seek help from the senior doctors when required.

We are also an Armed Forces veteran-friendly accredited surgery, meaning we have a dedicated clinician who has a specialist knowledge of military-related health conditions and veteran-specific health services.

We provide training for foundation doctors during their studies. They are fully qualified doctors but are given placements in various aspects of healthcare so they can decide what speciality they wish to progress in. We also offer training to physician associate trainees.

Occasionally, patients are asked if they will allow their consultations to be recorded. Only discussions will be recorded, not examinations. These are an extremely useful educational resource, which are only watched by doctors involved in the training of the registrar. Consent is always sought beforehand. We appreciate your cooperation in these consultations.

We are an innovative, organised, and fully-computerised surgery. The surgery is frequently involved in pilot projects and is also a member of the Arno Primary Care Network, working with other local practices to deliver services such as blood tests and Telederm projects. We always strive to give excellent medical care and aim to continue to do this in the future embracing new technologies to support patient care and treatment.
