Physician Assistant

Physician Assistants are healthcare professionals with a generalist medical education.

Our Physician Assistant works alongside our doctors, practice nurse, and GP assistant and supports patients with  medical problems, including history-taking, physical examination and using clinical decision-making skills to formulate a management plan. They also help patients with long-term chronic diseases, including annual reviews.

They provide assessments and management plans to those who are considered too fragile and signposts these patients  to other services as needed.

As we are part of a training practice, our Physicians Assistant is also a mentor to PA students.

Phlebotomist / HCA

Reception

Receptionists provide an important link for patients with the surgery and are your initial contact point for general enquiries. They can provide basic information on services, results, and direct you to the right person depending on your health issues or queries. Receptionists make most of the appointments with the GPs, nurses, and other healthcare professionals attached to the surgery.
